Author's Note: "Writing poetry, the real project of it, where the crafting comes in, is in revision. I get to pay attention to the look and feel of my poems when I am revising. The poems become testament and tribute to what I have experienced. I often make the case that every poem is a love poem, simply because of the attention given both to the subject and the craft.
